This report is based on internship course BUS400 and worked as a Brand marketing in Meghna Group of industries. It was 3 months of internship under new product development. The work was started from the scratch. Regular market visit, market research, sample collecting – these were the major tasks. This helped to know about the market condition of Bangladesh. In internship days, lots of meetings with foreign flavor houses were arrange where it was all about the sample testing of different flavor cakes. All this analysis is based on cake industry in Bangladesh. This research helped to know about the consumers and their demand. On the other hand, some important factors like pricing, quality, competitors is also playing a vital role here. The research is also done by consumer survey where several questions were asked to the consumers of different age, occupations people. SWOT analysis is also made for this report to know about the future business standings. In analysis part, a research model has been used. There were 3 independent variables and 1 is dependent variable. Independent variables are competitor analysis, Consumer demand and price. Dependent variable is opportunity of cake market in Bangladesh has bright future. From that some statistical analysis is made to make the report more strong and trustworthy. SPSS analysis will help to know the exact numeric number to make decisions wisely. Later part, findings, recommendations and conclusions are given.
