    Abstract
MetLife is a multinational, health and life insurance company. MetLife started its venture in Bangladesh back in 1952. MetLife Bangladesh is registered under the name of American Life Insurance Company (Alico). Alongside with all the departments, MetLife Bangladesh has a very strong human resources department which is strategically supporting the organization to reach its goal. However, due to lack of proper Human Resource Management System the department and the organization as a whole is becoming inefficient. MetLife Bangladesh do not use any automated employee leave management system. They manage the whole employee leave system manually. Thus, there is too much paperwork, and a complex leave management process which is causing the organization, especially HR department inefficient. Therefore, the Leave Management System needs to be automated. Using a proposed web-based leave management system software will help cut down paperwork, streamline the leave application process and will increase work efficiency and productivity among all employees. Using the proposed leave system the management will also be able to generate error free leave report and analyze to make decisions regarding leave affairs.
