    Abstract
    City Bank Capital Resources limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of The City Bank Ltd which is one of the largest private commercial banks in Bangladesh. Major activities of CBCRL are corporate advisory, portfolio management and structured finance. Chapter one of this report gives an idea of introduction of my internship report which includes Statement of the problem, scope, Objective, Methodology and limitations of the study. Chapter two describes the History, Functions of city bank capital resources limited, activities of CBCRL Research Department, my activities as an intern, Organogram of CBCRL, client satisfaction level of CBCRL which is gather from client survey, and Basic information about BRACEPL, Lankabangla investment, Prime bank investment and IDLC investment. Chapter three provides an overall idea about merchant bank, difference between Investment banks and Merchant banks and functions of merchant banks. Chapter four is the analysis part. Here I have discussed about issue manager, ratio analysis of five years of five merchant banks named City Bank Capital Resources limited(CBCRL), BRACEPL, Lankabangla investment, Prime bank investment and IDLC investment. In chapter five and six I have highlighted the strength, weakness, opportunities and threat of CBCRL, findings, and some recommendations for CBCRL etc
