    Abstract
    This study attempts to find out the role of Facebook on language learning. Therefore it includes analyzing the discourse of different apps that are popular in use on Facebook. Different components of discourse analysis have been used to identify and explore the impairment, and how they affect one’s language practice. For the empirical data, a survey was conducted with the use of quantitative method. This paper concluded with some recommendations on what steps should be taken to overcome the limitations which were found during the research.
